Established in 2002, Chinablue is a gallery committed to promoting and marketing Chinese contemporary art both at home and abroad. It has become a leader among Chinese art galleries and now ranks among the top twenty in Asia. Recently having moved premises, it is beginning a new stage in its development, actively seeking to open up further to the international art world.

The most fundamental aspect of any gallery is its exhibition space and with almost 900 meters square over two floors, Chinablue is one of the largest galleries in China. The top floor is used for regular exhibitions, while the bottom floor is a multi-purpose space for special events, offices and academic seminars. It also houses a permanent installation designed by Zhong Song, one of the gallery's represented artists.

Chinablue prides itself in representing a wide range of contemporary Chinese artists, each with their own distinctive styles. Its 16 artists include well established artists who rose to prominence in the 80s and 90s such as He Duoling, Wang Chenyun, and Liu Xiaodong as well as young and upcoming artists including Xiong Yu, Zhou Wenzhong and Qiu Xiaofei. Among other media, their works include installations, sculptures, prints and oil paintings.
