As title shows, Korean painter Sun Yee Chung expresses works feeling nature and life in her smooth style. Flower is one of still lives to show a beauty or vividness, so that we can enjoy the unique art works as using these objects.

In her recent works, an image of red flower in a way of silhouette expressed as strong screen layout and abstract background in dark colour give visual tension and make a harmony on the scene at the same time.

Brightness and darkness, straight line and curve, natural beauty, marvelous and abstract colour and image of background in her painting make us curious. The most interesting fact is colour contrast. As using drastically restrained colours only, she expresses esthetic excitement on canvas in her way. She doesn't create a limit of subject in advance, and shows a shape of flower in the traditional method. Finally, as painting by acrylic, she spreads out the world of flower and nature as emphasizing the image of form.
