We commit to hold arts and life together and recognize that arts can enhance the happiness of human beings;
We persist in our artistic principles because we believe that time will reveal those artworks which are most expressive and original;
We expect to stimulate interactions among artists and collectors, and invite them to witness the evolution of their arts and to build up the art world of Dandeli;
We appreciate communication, patience and joy in our work, and believe that everyone can create a Dandeli miracle.
Introduction
The Dandeli Gallery was established by Madam Zhu Yimei and her daughter Kalley Chen in Beijing in January 2008, in hopes that the space will act as a platform for artists, collectors, friends and all kinds of organizations to communicate and collaborate. Dandeli Gallery hopes to draw upon the power and charisma that lies within the arts to assist more people to enjoy arts while showcasing original Chinese arts to the world.
The Dandeli Gallery is designed by well-known architect Xiao Mengyi. He masterfully combined natural light with a post-modern concept, making the building a worthy visual companion to the artworks themselves. Dandeli is a partner of the Cool Family, which is made up of a photo studio, theatre, restaurant, multi-functional space and the home office of CNEX, an incubator for modern Chinese documentary films.
Space Functions
The three-floored building of the gallery has an exhibition space of 521square meters in total. It is ideally suited for all types of art shows and events. Dandeli staff will provide professional curatorship, display of exhibition, special order for personal portraits and art collection consultancy.
The Dandeli Gallery also offers an upscale and contemporary space for corporate events to entertain clients, colleagues, employees, and friends, and for special moments for life, such as anniversary, birthday, and wedding parties. To enjoy those most cherished moments underneath the magnificently skylight fixed among the beautiful glass ceiling.Max Capacity: 100 people.
