Established in March 2009, Eastation Gallery, with an area of about 1300 square metres, locates in the central business district (CBD) area of Beijing, China, with walking distance to Today Art Museum.

Determined to promote the Chinese contemporary art with a perspective of both international vision and contemporary ideology, Eastation Gallery has established itself as one of the leading galleries in China, by successfully staying the massive opening exhibition “China’s Revision”,  including some of the most famous chinese artists: Fang Lijun, Yue Minjun, Liu Xiaodong, Xu Bing, Zhang Xiaogang,Yan Pei-Ming, Gao Lei, Ji Dachun, Jiang Dahai, Mu Boyan, Shi Chong, Wang Guangle and Xia Xiaowan.The exhibition was cooperated with Ludwig Museum in Koblenz , was one of the most impressive views on contemporary Chinese art in Germany within the last year.

After that, Eastation Gallery has continually held solo and group exhibitions for Wang Mai, Sheng Tianhong, Wang Yabin and Chen Wenji.

Eastation Gallery is also ready to support projects in museums、biennials and academic institutions . In July of 2009, Eastation Gallery supported the first Academic Contemporary China Engraving Exhibition which was hold in Today Art Museum. In September of 2009, Eastation Gallery and Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art cooperated to organize Wang Mai’s first solo Exhibition in Taipei.

Eastation Gallery has took part in important art fairs in Asia ,such as Art Beijing 2009,Art Hong Kong 2009.

In the future, Eastation Gallery will dedicate to the promotion of contemporary art by presenting both the estabilshed and the young and promising artists,by introducing Chinese artist to the world and introducing foreign artists to the Chinese collectors.
