Photographer. Leung was brought up in Hong Kong. He has a B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering, and a MBA degree. In the 80s, Leung operated a commercial portrait photography studio in Canada. He returned Hong Kong in the 90s to continue his pursuit of photography and visual art creations.
Leung is member of the Royal Photography Society holding the Associateship (ARPS) title. He is also member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), and has been awarded 11 accreditations. Leung is currently the editorial advisor of photography of the Hong Kong News Publishing (China).
Leung has won many photography competition awards in Hong Kong, China, Canada and Japan, including the PPOC Print Salon, the Nikon Camera International Photography Competition, and the Japan Epson Color Imaging Contest. Leung was awarded the title of “the Best China Photographer” by the China Photographic Arts Society, and the title of “Master Portrait Photographer of China” by the China Portrait Photography Society.
Leung’s recent photographs were exhibited in the “2005 Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition”, and displayed in the“2007 Asia Art Biennial Exhibition”. His works are collected by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
