To welcome 2015, Sin Sin is delighted to share a recent discovery of two Japanese ceramists from Mino and a photographer from the same region.
The Japanese traditional word “KIWAMI” means to attain the ultimate in sophistication. As the master of Tea Ceremony reaches the secrets of Zen aesthetics through rituals for serving and drinking Japanese tea, “KIWAMI” is a very special term for Japanese to describe their sophistication. As Nature is the perfection of “KIWAMI”, for the two Japanese ceramists and the photographer, their search for “KIWAMI” is facing the nature by handling and focusing its perfect sophistication.
