GAGO (Gagik Chtchian). Born in 1969 in the city of Leninakan (Gumri), Armenia. In 1988 graduates from Erevan Fine Art College, Armenia. Moves to Moscow to conquer Russian art market in 1992. First success comes in 1999 when Gago artworks are selected byrtlink@Sotheby's International Young Art program committee among 246 artworks from 16 countries, out of 9000 submissions of 700 applicants from around the globe.

All artworks are sold at auctions in Chicago and Tel Aviv, bringing more than twice their highest estimated prices. After the auctions success the artist meets new millennium in Prague, Czech Republic, searching for more relaxed and art rich atmosphere and leaving Moscow commercial climate.

During 10 years in Prague his new figurative and abstract ideas continually attract collectors and art lovers from Russia, Armenia, Switzerland, USA, Germany, Czech Republic, UK, Norway, Italy, and Japan who acquire his artworks in the city contemporary art galleries. The artist returns to his home town in Armenia in 2010.

Since 2010 GAGO is presented by AP ART PROMOTION. To explore new markets AP ART PROMOTION displays his artwork in cooperation with KHANKHALAEV GALLERY, RUSSIA at ART ASIA, MIAMI in 2010 and 2011. Since 1984 has participated in over 30 exhibitions in Russia, Germany, Czech Republic, Ireland, USA etc.
