This unique and flexible exhibition space will be unmatched in Asia, enabling us to bring the world of Sotheby’s to our clients on a year-round basis. Created to enhance and expand Sotheby’s business beyond our traditional series of auctions in April and October, Sotheby’s new gallery will host auctions, exhibitions, lectures and other events throughout the year. SOTHEBY'S DIAMONDS will also be opening its permanent Hong Kong salon as part of this space, allowing our clients to view the SOTHEBY'S DIAMONDS Collection in Hong Kong in this exclusive venue.

Sotheby’s was the first international auction house in Hong Kong, opening its office and orchestrating its first auction of Chinese ceramics in 1973. The opening of Sotheby’s Hong Kong gallery is an important milestone for Sotheby’s business in Asia and a testament to Sotheby’s commitment to the region.
