11.12 started 6 years ago in Vinzavov, the central of Moscow’s art heritage. It presents Russian art in a medley of works that embody traditional Russian realism with contemporary trends of avant garde and post-modernism. It opened in Singapore in November 2012.

The gallery works with talented young artists who are recognized in their field for their unique styles and choice of technique when constructing their pieces. These artists have had their works exhibited in both Russia and abroad during exhibitions held in Ukraine and United States to name a few.

Max Bashev with his neo-dada style reveals a protest against the mundane regularity of a routine lifestyle. Meanwhile, Alexey Alpatov explores textures and lighting with his mixed media collages of urban landscapes and Olga Muravina enthralls with her bronze sculptures that blur the distinction between humanity and animals. They have vastly different styles, techniques and mediums, ranging from paintings to sculptures. 11.12 hopes to showcase each individual artist’s diverse portfolio to Asia for the first time and give Asia a feel of Russian contemporary art.

Opening hours: Mon – Sat 12–7 pm, Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
