Andre Azevedo was born and works in Curitiba, Brazil. A self-taught artist, He utilizes in his work the combination of different materials and techniques like drawing, painting and sewing. The construction of his pieces, creates images which suggest ambiguous perceptions which reveal something between the interior and exterior. Andre's work has caught the attention of important brands, like Alfa Romeo, Lacoste, Ermenegildo Zegna; and publications like Twill Magazine and Taschen's Illustration Now! Vol. 4 - all of which have commissioned his work.

The word "tropical" comes from the Greek tropikos meaning ‘turn’.
