The artistic approach Ju Ran refers to is based on the hijacking of the aesthetic of violence. The models of his sculptures are objects of consumption that reflects in distorting mirrors. He gives his works the necessary forms and not their functions, keeping only the aesthetics, where the violence of his orphan object would appear as absurd. The aesthetic of his works have a deeper meaning than the objects themselves would make. Ju Ran criticizes that the representation of speed and strength betrays our civilization, causing a tendency for violence and fear.
