100 Tonson Gallery will co-host a charity auction for Japan's relief, on 5th fl. Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) on Sunday April 3rd, 2011 at 2 pm – 4 pm. All the proceed without any expense deduction will go to various organizations such as Rebirth project (www.rebirth-project.jp) ,J-HELP(www.jhelp.com), and Thai Red Cross for forwarding to Japan.
There will be total of 50-60 artworks from Thai artists, some outstanding ones that we have detailed information include Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook's print, made when she studied in Germany in 1989, Pinaree Sanpitak with her latest painting which the price start at THB 100,000 for the size 180x180 cm ( actual price is approximately 550,000), Porntaweesak Rimsakul with his moving teapot, Yanawit Kunchaethong with one of his fondest piece of art which won the gold award from 34th National Art competition in 1988, starting only at THB 50,000, and Yuree Kensaku with her paintings at starting price of THB 20,000.
