In celebration of the upcoming 10th anniversary, YY9 Gallery is delighted to present "in Conversations", a group exhibition featuring 100 local contemporarty artists. Since the first exhibition held in January 2005, YY9 Gallery has been delicated to supporting and exhibiting talented young and emerging local artists whilst creating a unique platform for development of a sustainable practice in Hong Kong over the past decade. The exhibition provides a great chance in gathering many local artists to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and share the energy in the Hong Kong art scene.
The exhibition showcases five series of artworks, four of the new series of artworks by the gallery artists Chris Lo, Alannala Lau, Kennis Chan and Jiwye To. One of the highlight collaborative art piece created by the 100 local artists, featuring an installation consisting of 100 small pieces, each measured by 25x25cm; this installation thus embodies an intimate connection among the participating artists and creates a visual dialogue where artists may interact with each other and gain new insights on local contemporary art.
