Yoshimi Arts is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Shiho Yamamoto, “UBUSUNA”. She was born in Gifu Prefecture of Japan in 1982, graduated from Art course at Kano High School. Then, she was graduated from Japanese painting course of the Department of Fine Arts at Hiroshima City University, completed master program in Graduate School of Art, and lives in Hiroshima Prefecture. “UBUSUNA”, the title of the exhibition, means “the place of birth” in Japanese. She has imaged small, sure presence and breathing of human since the last solo exhibition “Shin-on”(Sound of Heart) in 2010. Her experience of pregnancy and giving birth is reflected in her new works. The exhibition will show nine new works in Japanese style painting.
