LUCA CRUZAT calls her technique collagraphy printing. Assembling unusual materials, especially those with interesting textures, she creates the plates from which her images are made. Cruzat also makes use of a sewing machine to create patterns of tiny perforations on the plates, and the texture of perforation translates into line on paper. Cruzat often leaves free the long, loo...se ends of threads effecting further variations between different impressions on the same plate.
JUAN CARLOS STEKELMAN has been a print artist for 60 years. His works are hand printed hence the texture and mark of every print is unique. He uses a water based ink which gives warmth and individuality to the final work. He uses simple but direct composition to create maximum impact.
