Space Station presents Bejeweled, the first exhibition to begin the year of 2013. Liu Guangguang was born in 1986 and graduated from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. He is another new artist active in the contemporary Beijing art circle. This exhibition is his second solo exhibition since his last one in 2010. The Space Station will invite Mr. Su Lei, cultural landscape doctor from School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, France, to curate this exhibition for Liu Guangugang. Liu is expert in dissociation and reconstruction of landscape. This capability will be fully expressed in this exhibition through his works created in the recent two years. The curator will descriptively present humanities environment that young artists face in their initial stage and efforts they constantly made through “Landscape Fragments”, “Landscape Restoration” and “Self-restoration”. The dizziness created by collision of light and shadow on the site will lead spectators into a sense game of Bejeweled to deeply experience the art world reconstructed by an emerging artist.
