Izan Tahir, one of the country’s foremost printmakers presents her second solo exhibition on home soil, entitled ‘Where Are You?’ at Wei-Ling Gallery this November.
In this series of works she explores ones desire to connect to others and the different degrees of being a social animal in society.
The show is primarily about private cartogrophys.

Cartographys of the self and the mask, the uniform and the structures of anonymities therein, this show presents responses to and conceptions of the desire for social human connections and the simultaneous feeling of unfamiliarity and estrangement.
