The Contemporary Asian Art Sale on 4 April, bringing forward a total of 153 lots estimated at over HK$121 million/ US$16 million. The sale will offer a broad spectrum of works by important artists from China, Japan and Korea, from innovative media and conceptual installations to seminal early works by Liu Ye and Zhang Xiaogang. There will also be a special section presenting sculptures, multi-media installations and works of design that reveal how contemporary artists are channelling creativity into unconventional spatial dimensions.
Sotheby's is also pleased to present an environmentally-themed sale, the Clean Air Auction on the same date to support the projects of Clean Air Network (CAN).
